- USS Navajo returns from one month hiatus
- The crew of the USS Archimedes officially relinquishes control of Starbase 50 to Brigadier General Allan Bresnick and his marines. The starbase will however continue to operate with a small Stafleet operational presence but is returning to it's original purpose as a marine outpost

20 August
- We're proud to announce a new sim to Capricorn Group the SS La Vida Libre. A civilian cargo sim that adds a little illegal spice to the mix. Join now and help make and shape the sim from the beginning!

- USS Archimedes officially ends it's third JP Fest! Congratulations to Charles, Adam and Elisa who won 1st, 2nd and 3rd place respectively

22 June
- Mid-season hiatus announced for USS Harbinger
- USS Archimedes crew are banished to Starbase 50 to babysit the damaged and eerily empty starbase as punishment for stealing a ship and saving some of the universe.

- After almost three years of activity, SS Walkabout is closing it's doors for good. So long Cars and Walkie, we'll miss you muchly

- Our previous advertising person the Advertising Mongoose, otherwise known as Larky, has resigned from her position and while we are sad to see her go we wish her all the best.
  
  So we're looking for a new victim - I mean volunteer.
  
  What will you need to do? Advertise and recruit regularly on behalf of Capricorn Group and it's sims. That means writing ads, posting them on forums, sites, yahoogroups (sometimes) and also maintaining our image on banner exchanges, top sites and the like. Also a member of the council and a volunteer position that is for a finite amount of time so we can give lots of people opportunities to volunteer.
  
  We're looking for someone:
  
  - With enthusiasm
  - wif teh ability 2 right england goodly
  - Who has 30 minutes free a week
  - Who must like cheesecake

- USS Archimedes: Oh noes! The Archimedes has been ship-napped, along with the skeleton crew that was on board while the rest of the crew were lapping it up on Risa. Starfleet Command have been notified and their response is to send a vessel to Risa within the next 24 hours to start a search for the missing Archimedes. Fat lot of good that will do, methinks a handful of officers led by Commodore Geiger may take matters into their own hands...

12 February 2008
- USS Archimedes: Congratulations to Lieutenant JG David Roberts who started as the Archie's Acting Chief Security / Tactical Officer - he has now been awarded the position permanently. The party to celebrate this will be had on Risa!
